Actor Skarsgard to star in movie version of online casino favourite Battleship

Battleship - Search and Destroy will be heading to the big screen in 2012 courtesy of Universal Pictures. Already set to star in Battleship are True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard and Friday Night Lights hunk Taylor Kitsch.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the two actors will play brothers both serving in the navy. However, the plot may not be what fans expect, as the publication has revealed that the story revolves around "an international fleet coming together to battle a water-bound armada of otherworldly origin."
