A new Star Trek film is ready to begin shooting, according to one of the stars of the previous instalment.
Kerching Casino players may know that Karl Urban took on the role of 'Bones' McCoy in the sequel to the 2009 Star Trek film, which itself was a reboot of the original 1960s television programme. He has told Collider website "it's going to be maybe September of November" before filming begins.
However, the actor admits that he doesn't know for sure that JJ Abrams, director of the first film, will resume his position for the second: "He's a phenomenal director and we had such a great time working with him on the first one so I really hope [he comes back]."
