Big cash prize would go to charity
Online slots players will probably know what Dale Harper is going through. The 26-year-old from Wales has been playing the McDonald's Easy Win Monopoly game and already has the Park Lane sticker. Now he just needs the Mayfair tab to pick up a big win.
It's a situation Kerching online casino punters may be all too familiar with; waiting for that last symbol to come up in order to claim a big prize. Indeed, they may have even felt the tension playing the great Monopoly Multiplier or Pass Go (pictured) slots titles.
One more tab
Mr Harper has even offered up his half of the prize to charity, providing some steps forward with the missing piece. The 26-year-old will give half of the £500,000 fund to the Cardiff-based fund Edith's Home, which raises cash for a vocational school in Uganda.
The incentive for the person with the missing piece is simple - the other half of the jackpot prize. And Mr Harper believes someone, somewhere, must have the missing Mayfair tab. He said:
"The Park Lane sticker is not as rare as the Mayfair one, but the two need to be paired. It would be so amazing to get the money. It would create massive opportunities and would help [the charity] plan what they could do in the long term."
The deadline for claiming the prize is June 4th 2010, so fingers crossed for Mr Harper!
