Online gaming laws set to change online casino operations

The way an online casino operates in the UK will change under improved legislation set to be introduced by the government.

Sports Minister Gerry Sutcliffe has said that the UK will see new laws in an effort to "level the playing field" for online casino companies nationwide. It is also thought that the change in legislation, details of which have not yet been announced, will make it easier for companies to set themselves up in the UK without affecting already established brands.

The last time laws were changed regarding online casino play was 2007, when the government loosened its gaming laws in an effort to attract companies to base themselves in the UK. However, firms are still opting to set up in the Caribbean, Malta and Gibraltar because of the tax benefits.

Kerching members will already be aware of the fun that can be had using an online casino. Indeed, games such as online slots title Cleopatra have proved to be big hits.

Set way back in Ancient Egypt, the game focuses around the beautiful queen Cleopatra and is based on a 20-payline system with a great bonus round in which players can gain free spins.

Another popular title is our online slots game Treasures Of Troy. This time the action is set in Ancient Greece as you try to battle your way to find Helen Of Troy - the legendary lady with the 'face that launched a thousand ships'.
