Cast and crew of TV show rock out in casino
Online casino players, particularly those with children, may have encountered the phenomenon that is Hannah Montana. Indeed, some may have played the odd online roulette or slots game in an attempt to escape the show!
So it could come as a relief to discover that this week saw the series come to an end, leaving teenage girls the world over struggling for a quick musical fix (well, other than Glee).
The cast and crew from the programme got together on Sunday 14 May for a casino-themed wrap party, celebrating the shooting of the show's final episode. The team descended on the h.wood club in Hollywood, California for the gathering, enjoying casino treats such as hot dogs and fries.
Joining show star Miley Cyrus - who played a dual role as Hannah Montana and Miley Stewart on the show - were colleagues Emily Osment, Jason Earles and Romi Dames. Of course, with most of the principal cast under-age and unable to drink or gamble, the actors just enjoyed the food and danced the night away.
A source at the party told Aceshowbiz:
"They had a congratulatory cake, sushi, hot dogs and fries, a fondue set-up by [show] chief Mark Mittelman, a doughnut cart, sugar cookies and custom tea blends."
Celebrity gatecrasher
An unexpected guest who delighted partygoers with his presence was movie star Will Smith. The actor turned up with his children Willow and Jaden, who are both huge fans of the show, and enjoyed dancing to Smith's hit song 'Welcome to Miami' when the DJ played it.
