Hotel trade beckons for Mr Casino

But UK could be the perfect setting for a casino comeback

A man synonymous with casinos in South Africa is putting his cards and chips away and turning his hand to the hotel industry in the UK.

Graham Vass was general manager at a Cape Town establishment - the biggest-grossing of its kind in the southern hemisphere - for three years before setting his heart on a move to Britain.

Vass' experience in the industry reaches further back, as he has also been a tsar behind two other casinos in the country. Despite the move, he admits he'll miss the hustle, bustle and glamour of life at the casino, especially the entertainment. He told The Weekend Post Online:

"In the last four weeks we have seen Tom Jones, the Moscow Circus and (Dutch orchestral entertainer) Andre Rieu. When I was at the casino, we got to meet the likes of Smokie, Eddie Grant and Maroon 5."

The UK - home of online gambling

Should Mr Vass feel the itch to get involved in casino life again, he couldn't be in a better place. The UK has some of the most relaxed online casino rules in the world, and some of the best websites on which to play.

For a jetsetter like Mr Vass, an online slots title such as Cleopatra could prove the perfect choice to help him relax if the hotel industry becomes a little bit too much.

Set way back in Ancient Egypt (admittedly, a difficult place to jet to!), this 20-payline game features the Cleopatra Bonus, a level where 15 free spins and 3-times multipliers are available.
