Online gaming business gets investment from Dragon Theo Paphitis
An online gaming site proved to be a solid investment on the entrepreneurial BBC show 'Dragons Den,' as two owners of an online gaming business site were given a £200,000 investment from millionaire Theo Paphitis.
The online gaming site was the latest business to appear on the BBC2 programme and the two founders from the online gaming business attempted to convince the judges to invest in their online company. The online gaming company, which specialises in online gaming information and breaking news in the online industry - including the latest information of new games of slots and roulette - looks set to benefit from Paphitis' forty years in business.
The gaming site proved to be a big draw for Paphitis and he parted with his money in return for a 30 per cent stake in the company. The owners now hope to expand their site internationally over the coming years and have plans to launch their online games site in Spain and other European countries. They were particularly keen to introduce new slot games and blackjack onto their website.
While the other judges on the programme were unwilling to contribute their money to the online gaming site, Paphitis said he was keen to invest in the online gaming sector.
Paphitis said: "I think the whole concept of proactively alerting in the online gaming industry is truly revolutionary and the team has really brought the idea to life. I am looking forward to working with them and realising the potential of the company."
