Taylor's treasure to be sold by Christie's
Kerching Casino players will know all about the Egyptian queen Cleopatra thanks to our brilliant slots title of the same name. They will also be well aware of the treasures the ancient monarch possessed due to the brilliant graphics depicting her jewels. Now, an auction selling the diamond collection of the late Elizabeth Taylor - who played the historical figure in 1963 - means our members could get their hands on Cleopatra's gold!
Auction house Christie's has confirmed that it will be selling off the artwork, clothing, jewellery and other memorabilia left by Taylor, who died in March 2011 at the age of 79. Online slots members with one eye on Hollywood may already be familiar with her collection after she published the book Elizabeth Taylor: My Love Affair with Jewelry in 2003.
Cleopatra slots fans may also be interested to learn that the collection contains the first diamond valued at $1 million; a piece given to her by Cleopatra co-star Richard Burton (also her fourth and fifth husband).
Kerching Casino player jukaks12 recently picked up a great £793.80 win during a session spinning the reels of Cleopatra II. Of course, this amount might be just shy of the winning bid for that $1 million diamond, but we're sure jukaks12 could grab a holiday to Egypt with the cash - experiencing the birthplace of Cleopatra for themselves.
