Fans banned from online casino after authority review

Kerching Casino players will be counting their lucky stars when they hear about the exploits of a gambling hub overseas.

Those who enjoy a flutter using internet websites in South Africa have been effectively banned from doing so after an online casino in the country became the second to comply with new law.

Last month, the Guateng Gambling Board ruled that using digital products to gamble is now illegal. The move convinced the Piggs Peak Casino to scrap the online gambling component of its business, and now the Silver Sands Online Casino has followed suit.

While the Silver Sands claimed it could reopen its doors to South African players in the future, it released a statement claiming that only available cash withdrawals will be possible to players in the country for the foreseeable future. It said:

"We have closed down all gaming related services for South African players. Your account will remain accessible but you will not be able to play any of our games, you will however have full access to your player account, and you may request a withdrawal of your available cash balance."

Kerching online casino players in the UK enjoy some of the most relaxed rules regarding the pastime in the world. Indeed, players are welcome to play online slots whenever they want, as long as they are over the age of 18.
