Help Captain Kirk in Star Trek Against All Odds
One of Kerching's slots titles based on the 2009 cinematic reboot of the classic sci-fi series, Star Trek Against All Odds is a fine addition to our catalogue of slots games. You can find all your favourite characters upon the reels, each edging you closer to a healthy prize total.
The new films feature characters from the first incarnation of Star Trek, which starred William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk. The role is taken over by Chris Pine in the movies, with similar recasting undertaken for iconic characters such as Spock, Scotty, Uhura and Mr Sulu.
Try MultiWay Xtra betting for bigger payouts
MultiWay Xtra play has already made successful appearances in other Kerching slots titles such as Siberian Storm, and its transition to the Star Trek slots arena opens up a range of possibilities.
Whereas the original Kerching Star Trek title conformed to the standard reel format, here they are laid out hexagonally. This means that, with the central reel housing five symbols, there are many more potential paylines to bet on.
The action doesn't end there, with Energising Wilds turning up to five symbols wild and creating plenty of opportunities to win multiple times on the same spin. Each winning payline also pays out from right to left as well as left to right, immediately doubling your win.
Star Trek Against All Odds bonus game
The bonus round unlocked by Star Trek Against All Odds players is a little different to many older titles. This mini-game is an arcade-style shooter in which the player must fend off Romulan missile fire to protect the Enterprise.
There are 45 seconds in which you must shoot as many rockets out of the sky as you can, and successfully seeing off a large number will help you once the time is up. You see, at the end of the level each player is awarded a ranking, either Captain, Commander or Lieutenant, and these dictate what prizes you can win.
If you do badly, you are not punished negatively, you simply receive the lowest rank. The higher the rank, the more impressive the prizes will be on the wheel you unlock, which you must then spin to see what you have won.
