The Cluedo board game was published in the UK way back in 1949. Originally called Murder, it was the brainchild of wily solicitor's clerk Anthony E Pratt and his wife. Legendary game developer Waddingtons snapped up the rights and immediately licensed it to Parker Bros in the US, who changed the name to Clue.
