Top three casino fools

- Tuesday, September 7 2010

Wayne Rooney's latest spate of trouble involves allegedly entertaining an escort girl at one of Manchester's premier casinos. To be as famous as he is and think he'd get away with it surely makes the striker about as dim as the papers would have us believe; but it got us here at Kerching thinking about other examples of wacky behaviour taking place in casinos. Check out some of our favourites below.

The dancing dummy
A baccarat player on a lucky streak has left Caesar's Palace with a hefty $250,000 fine after dancing on a table. The gambler let his happiness get the better of him during the high-stakes game and walked all over the table several times during his 45-minute streak. The Nevada Gaming Control Board charged the casino with failing to protect the game and its patrons.

The nude ninny
A teenager was arrested in the US Stateline Casino last year for indecent exposure. Loaded on LSD and cannabis, the naked 19-year-old told the arresting officer he was the Terminator after being incapacitated by a stun gun in the middle of the casino.

The gormless groom
The original idiot, Homer Simpson, drags Ned Flanders down with him when they get extremely drunk and marry two cocktail waitresses in Vegas. The pair soon get kicked out of the state, but not before a chaotic attempt to escape their new spouses to the tune of 'Viva Las Vegas'.

Of course, had this sorry bunch been playing at Kerching Casino, they would have got away with it. Nobody here minds if you get naked or dance on a table - and you'd be very hard pushed to accidentally get married!
