An experiment by computer giant IBM has pitted man against machine in a Jeopardy! contest. Engineers set themselves the challenge of making a machine capable of beating humans at the popular game show. The contest, which took place earlier this week, saw two previous champions compete against the computer, called Watson. After two intense games, there was a clear winner - Watson was just too quick.
