Captain America throws his mighty shield up north
If you'd have asked us where Captain America was most likely to be seen next, we think Manchester would have been fairly low on the list! Comic book fans will know that the shield-wielding hero is usually seen defending American soil, but for his new movie, he's appearing a little bit closer to the offices of Kerching Casino.
Filming of new movie Captain America - The First Avenger began in Manchester this week, and is creating quite a buzz within the city. The hash tag #captainamerica is currently trending on social networking site Twitter, and people around the city are posting photos and reports from the set.
